Sharing with clients
Sharing with clients
A client sees runs in your workspace with their own sign-in, and only in the projects you give them. There are no public links to pass around.
Clients and projects
On the Clients page, admins add a client and assign projects to it. A project belongs to one client, and the sidebar groups projects by client.
Invite a client
On a run or flow page, admins choose Invite and enter the client's email. Under What they see, pick:
- Only that project, or
- Every project of its client, including ones added later.
The client gets an email invite and signs in as a Viewer with that email: by email code, Google or GitHub. If the email can't go out, the dialog shows the invite link to send yourself. Teammates are invited on the Members page instead.
Drafts and publishing
A new run starts as a draft that only admins see. Publish on the run page shows it to members and viewers; Back to draft hides it again.
What clients see
- Branch and commit are hidden from clients unless you show them: open the Signed-in CLIs page in the sidebar and use What clients see.
- Ticket links on runs and flows are for the team unless you tick "Clients can see it" on the link.
Comments and activity
Clients and the team pin comments to a step, a screenshot or a moment in the video. The activity on a run shows who opened it and watched its video.
Plan limits
On Free, a workspace has up to 3 people, clients included. Pro has no limit. See Plans and storage.
